Police Find BMW Sought In Homicide Investigation

LOS ANGELES -- Authorities on Friday released the names of a man and a woman found dead in a business in Inglewood this week.Images | Video The bodies were found inside a business at 415 W. Manchester Blvd. at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday by Inglewood police officers responding to a robbery call, police said.
The victims were Joel Cruz Perez, 51, of Los Angeles and Norma Lorena Rodriguez, 48, of Hawthorne, said Lt. Joe Bale of the Los Angeles Coroner's Office. Perez died on his birthday. Authorities did not say how the two died. Authorities on Thursday found a BMW 328i, license number 5SPY435, that had been sought in connection with the case, said Inglewood police Lt. Bryan Mylar. The vehicle was discovered in the 400 block of East Warren Lane, he said. Police were still looking for a champagne or gold 2000 Ford Explorer, license number 4LXE391, Mylar said.
