AGUA DULCE, Calif. -- Some in California said they can see the image of the Virgin Mary in a sycamore tree burned by recent wildfires.
They said they can see an outline of the Holy Mother in the tree's charred trunk on the side of the Sierra Highway in Los Angeles County.Believers have left flowers and other offerings in front of the tree, turning it into a makeshift altar.Some also have left notes, hoping to be blessed after seeing the vision.The tree was a victim of the Buckweed Fire. Its trunk will now be saved by county road crews.
