Gunman Robs Bellflower Subway Restaurant

BELLFLOWER, Calif. -- Police said Thursday they are searching for a gunman who robbed a Subway restaurant in Bellflower just as it was closing up for the day.
Raw Video | ImagesWith a dark-colored mask on his face and a gun in his hand, the bandit entered the business at 15794 Bellflower Blvd. around 11 p.m. Wednesday as the shop was closing, said Sgt. Jessie Martinez of the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department's Lakewood Station.The robber demanded cash from three employees inside and fled with money from the register, according to the store's surveillance footage.
It was not immediately known how much money he took, Martinez said, adding that no one was hurt during the holdup.Anyone with information on the robbery was asked to call the sheriff's Lakewood Station at 562-866-9061.
