ORANGE, Calif. -- A sex club in suburban Orange County is selling its used beds, foam mattresses and purple-felt wall space coverings, and appears to be moving out of the city of Orange, it was reported Sunday."Club Amnesty" has a small sign advertising a "moving sale," and is offering its used furnishings on Craigslist, the Orange County Register said. The club, also known as C.W. Studios, was operated by a pair of Fullerton residents as a place for married and unmarried pairs to have intimate parties with like-minded couples. It had been cited for fire and building code violations, and for operating without a proper business license.
The owner of an adjacent business, the Christian Wedding Planning Center and Site Library, said he is happy the spouse-swapping club is moving out."It was very embarrassing," said the wedding center owner, Gary Luther, in an Orange County Register article. He said the club operators called it "C.W. Studios" in a play on his business's name.Among items being offered is a 600-pound icemaker, 26 foam mattresses of various sizes, and a steel-framed bed with headboard lights.
