Jose Guzman, 22, of Anaheim, entered the restaurant in the 1200 block of North Euclid Street about 9:20 p.m. Saturday, went to a back office and stabbed the manager in the chest, Anaheim police Sgt. Rick Martinez said.

The robber took an undisclosed amount of cash from the registers and fled on foot, he said.

The wounded 37-year-old woman, whose name was withheld, was taken to a hospital in serious condition, Martinez said.

About 30 minutes later, Guzman was spotted on a bicycle in a nearby parking lot and identified by employees as the robber, he said.

Police found three knives on Guzman and booked him on suspicion of robbery and attempted murder, Martinez said.
