"LX.tv OpenHouseLA" and "LX.tv 1stLookLA," two new locally produced, half-hour shows, debuted on NBC4 (KNBC-Channel 4) on Saturday, April 5, at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., respectively. Shira Lazar (Court TV's "Hollywood Heat," Yahoo! Entertainment Host) hosts the weekly shows.

Both programs are produced by LX.tv NBC Local Media Division's newly acquired production unit that specializes in local high end, urban market cultural and lifestyle programming. The two Los Angeles-produced programs represent LX.tv's first expansion of the popular "OpenHouse" and "1stLook" formats, which were developed for television in partnership with NBC’s New York owned-and-operated station, WNBC, which airs the programs weekly. LX.tv has been producing online programming in Los Angeles and New York since 2006.

"LX.tv OpenHouseLA" presents an intimate view of Southern Californians as they search for, purchase, and improve their dream homes. The show will also provide hands-on advice from leading experts on home ownership and home improvement, including décor, maintenance, renovation, and financing. Each week, "LX.tv OpenHouseLA" will feature three segments - "The Hunt," "Floor Plan" and "Square Feet." "The Hunt" follows a homebuyer and their broker as the look at two different properties, while "The Floor Plan," with carpenter/actor Jonathan Redford, shares insights into home improvement. "Square Feet" features personal tours of some of the area's most unique, lavish and expensive homes.

"LX.tv 1stLookLA." highlights the area's hottest destinations, the best in local nightlife, restaurants, shopping, kids activities, fitness and wellness. Mo Rocca, well-known for his humorous segments on NBC's "Tonight Show," CBS' "Sunday Morning with Charles Osgood" and comedy Central's "Daily Show with Jon Stewart," will host "5 Minutes With...," a segment that features Rocca's impish brand of humor and interviews with the top pacesetters in entertainment, culture and business. Interviews subjects have included Tim Gunn, Chazz Palminteri, Bob Saget and James Lipton. Conor Knighton (Google Current Host) and Nate Owens (Actor/Model) will serve as field reporters for the show.

"LX.tv 1stLookLA" has entered into a television partnership with Zagat Survey, the country's most trusted restaurant guide. Restaurant segments highlighted on "LX.tv 1stLookLA" will feature Zagat’s signature ratings and reviews. This information will also appear on Zagat.com.
